Why unless there is potential leverage with Elche Council are our administrators getting involved (and paid) with what's going on with the proposed NEW campsite.

Surely 100% of their efforts should be focussed on progressing our own plight............working with the council rather than acting against them will work better for all of us!

Is it OK to build 300 odd houses on a natural beauty site (remember the green party!) but not a camp site, hotel & swimming pools? The it's alright if its not on my doorstep attitude is rediculous!

Our administrators and 'committee' need to focus on the task at hand, only deviating if it's advantageous to do so.

This is a big opportunity to leverage the council and get them to speed up completion of our site before they allow / start next door

Personally a brand new camp site will make El pinet even more desirable and speed up the demolition of what can only now be described as almost derelict, un-hiegenic eye sore's adjacent to the beach.

At least if we get our site finished those that don't like the campsite on their doorstep will be able to sell up................

I can't understand why we are getting involved when we need to address the issue's of our CoH and services.

Is anything happening to green area's, which are down to the council. These need to get sorted and not just beds of weeds.

What about the pools?

Campsite  a good idea?   Take a look around the housing near the other campsite. There is loads of graffiti on properties nearby, so for those near the proposed site 'brace yourself'.

Inform the greens, it might slow or even stop the plan. Good luck.

We have had posters advertising ' strip clubs ' on boxes already.

D.............dontintervine

Take a look inside those cottages, a health hazard? Some are stunning.

I think this campsite business is a diversion tactic, important as it is to address. There's no talk about the other builder starting work and where he is putting his property's. Are these dwellings going on a temporary supply? Will they have to wait a decade for CoH's?

Should we not be asking when SJ and Iberdrola are coming back. Who is chasing the Elche council up about their part in all this. The elections were in May its now September.

Is all this going to happen some when never

I agree with what you ay.  The site is full of weeds, whose responsibility is this?  I will ask Vivendoo.  On another note, did anyone receive 2 bills for January and February 2010.  I only received 1 for February for 60 E. in total 11bills, not 12.  Vivendoo ay there were 12 but cannot get me a copy!.  I would be grateful for any help.

As the camping site would be opposite me I can assure you that no distraction from other issues is intended.

Some, I know are in favour, including some on the committee given the extremely poor (from my point of view) objection,

Consider what your actions would have been if it was 'in your back yard'  so to speak.

I thank those that have offered suggestions.

I agree that posters / advertising stickers  are appearing on the estate and should be removed immediately, otherwise it will only get worse.

Dave

I know what you mean dbr there are weeds, a pile of soil and a cesspit (which they call a lagoon) near me.

Has anyone got their original contract from SJ saying the actual price. This is the first one before they gave you one to sign at the solicitor with a lower figure on? This was to avoid paying tax on their part but leaving us with the problem when we came to sell. Just a thought could we not use this as a lever, as the taxman is trying to get money back from builder doing this. Maybe it might make SJ think about pulling their fingers out rather than having to pay back tax?

There is a case of shooting ourselves in the foot though?

Regarding weeds etc Vivendoo say it is not the Town Hall's responsibility to clear them.it is San Jose who should do it.  They have asked them to clear roundabouts and they will do it shortly apparently.  Obviously Community charge or Suma does not cover this. It needs someone to organise a working party but I do not live there.  That would probably up to the Presidentes.  The weeds encroach the road at one point.

According to the original plans the "green area's" are down to Elche council. We asked about this a few years ago when we went to register our property. Obviously that was a different council and we have had a least two changes since then. Could be they have conveniently forgotten!

Nothing is being done to keep the nature area clear either, all that fuss by the Green party!

All quiet on the El Pinet front?

Anybody heard anything?

Hi Devineintervention,

I got the impression from others including Vivendoo and Norman Harris that things were going to happen. A re-launch was mentioned!

There are two important rules to remember: Einstein's “theory of relativity” and El Pinet’s “law of reality”

Got back from El Pinet today. Nothing much happening. Saw two guys working on one of the unfinished blocks of apartments one day. Whether they were "constructing" or "destructing", I can't say !!

Found this link on the SARC web site (see below). Don't know if this is of interest or would be useful to anyone here at EP?

I think you will find the dates were for last years meetings Meetings will be arranged once they have resolved the water issue, have got final build licenses, and they have got finance in place. SADM is just another El Pinet fiasco, if it ever gets built at all.

Cheers Joanniemac

WARNING                               WARNING                               WARNING

Have you received the latest email from VIVENDOO asking you to set up a direct debit to pay your fees.

If you do set  up a direct debit and owe any money through non payment for other peoples electric and water between 2010 - 2011

Then this money can be taken out of your account and there is NOTHING you can do about it.

I have been told that this has already happened to a non payer

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Gringo thanks for that warning.

I don't set up direct debit with companies in the UK and would certainly not with Vivendo for that reason.

I will be paying what I owe and I am quite pleased with the electric and water charges. I suspect others will disagree and want to change it back to a system of subsiding the whole of EP. I hope I’m wrong.

I was amazed at the list of things Vivendo had outlined they where going to do if everyone paid. No mention of action to get the CoH’s, or was there?

Am I not looking in the right places but there is a lack of information about what is really happening if at all.

More threats of court action.

Let them consider.

A court action takes place, they lose, (almost certain) compensation now due.

Note that the building work that was due to start in Sept has not.   xxxxxxxx  is now predicting next week.  Bless.

When will they learn

 Hi all

I am in need of some help. I bought a flat at El Pinet some time ago and have just had a bill from `vivendoo threatening legal action.

The thing is I havent been out too Spain for 4 years and they have apparently been sending stuff to an incorrect address. It was only by luck that I recived this correspondence. So in short can some one explain what is going on?

The last I heard was when SJose were going to finish off in recievership.

All help appreciated
