Community Bank Statement

 Please could anyone tell me if the Administrator can prevent a fully paid up member of a community, viewing the Community Bank statement.

All accounts, including bank statements, must be made available to any owner of said community!

Where would you start to convince a community that our new administrator is in the wrong to stop the community having sight of the community Bank Statement. Is there proof that all community members have the right to see the Community Bank statement If so where will I find it.

When you say the administratgor will not let the "community" have sight of the bank statement, do you mean anyone in the community? Surely the president at least can see it - after all, he/she must be a signatory on the account.

The simple answser to the question "where would you start....." is obviously, the bank! The president and any other committee members who are signatories can simply go to the bank and ask for statements.

In our community, any owner who wishes, can have online access to view the bank statements (not to make any transactions of course). In the interest of openess and honesty, I believe this is a good idea; you could propose it at the next agm.

Thanks for the info, Our president gave the information to the community via the community blog spot  therefore must agree that the members of our community should not see the bank account.  I just need to know the rights & wrongs before I make a fuss.
