Talking of dogs, we drove along the lemon tree road one day recently when it was busy too & saw three very small dogs, though not puppies, running like their little lives depended on it, directly towards us down the centre of the road. I'm shouting 'oh NO!' as I envisage three dead or injured dogs any minute but they ran either side of our car & continued down the road!  Of course we'd slowed down almost to a stop & put the hazzard lights on as did everyone else... thankfully. It really upset me & on the way home later I looked for them but there was no sign of them so, hopefully, they got off the road & made it to where they wanted to go.

Yea saw them more, on the same item, ''President Obama looking for a puppy'' ....The American Kennel Club was urging him to get the water dog to promote purebreds.

If it's good enough for the President, it's good enough for tec and that's good news.

Thank you all for your good wishes!

Rosie (aka. Tinkerbell) says "My new daddy and mummy are in good company indeed. Just imagine, one of my cousins lives in the White House!".

This is as close as you could get to a picture of Rosie.... without it being a picture of Rosie! And of course Rosie is only ten weeks old... all together.... ahhh!

Pup looks great very closely resemble my standard poodles who are both looking forward to their move in Sept.

Hope it brings you years of companionship and enjoyment.

Rosie 1st mummy and daddy were very busy people and really didn't have time for her, and have now gone back to the UK.

Then the young girl who had her, didn't want her any more.

Lastly, the family that gave us the opportunity to have Rosie stay with us, there older dog couldn't get on with Rosie, and they thought of us because they knew what a wonderful home our Tyler had before he passed away last October.

The battery for the camera has finished charging, and a moment ago I took our first picture of Rosie...

She is lovely, so she has had a few homes bless her.  Are you keeping her for good? Or just looking after for now?

Well she has a good home with the two of you.

Poor little Rosie, she must be feeling very confused going to her 4th home when she is only 10 weeks old.  She looks absolutely gorgeous and it is definitely good news that she has now found a good home.

Our perra Lisa says "Hola!"

More knows Lisa well and knows that we adopted her (or more accurately Lisa adopted us!) from the local Albergue in Jumilla.

So far as good news is concerned - and apologies if this seems too trivial! - many Spanish people love animals as much as Brits do.  Our Spanish neighbours used to feed Lisa when she was living on the streets, and when 4 Patas (the local refuge) picked her up, it was obvious how much all the people working there cared for the dogs and cats in the refuge.

Techno, it is good to hear that you have another dog and also that she clearly has a very good home.

Sue

Yes, Vicci, but what about the tennis?!!!  Andy Murray versus Rafa Nadal: who is everybody going to support?!!!

If Andy wins, good news for Brits in Spain,  If Rafa wins, good news for España!
