Spanish Property Purchase last 2 Years

Has anyone actually purchased a SPANISH PROPERTY in the LAST TWO YEARS

WHAT was your EXPERIENCE LIKE and what reasons did you have for BUYING

i did in Playa Flamenca through private buyer, used English solicitor based in area, bit rustic arrangements meeting points etc etc but paperwork went through sellersSpanish solicitor fairly smoothly, and was all done and dusted in less than 2 Months.

Reasons ? wanted good location fair price and stress free transfer all of which I achieved and love my Spanish home and cannot wait for retirement in the sun.

I did howeverd spend several months spread over 2 years looking at area's, urbs and even the neighbours before deciding on final property and to date no problema with electricity, water or town hall dealings or neighbours LOL

Why MORE people do not BUY this way I will never know we purchased DIRECT on this basis TOO

And HAVE BEEN very HAPPY
