Is anyone living there? someone's offering me a property there and would like to know more about it. Would anyone living close by be prepared to have a quick butchers for me? (I don't mean inside!)

Many thanks, looking forward to my move!

Tony

Hi Tony there are people living on Reserva de Marbella but not sure to what extent. So much of it still doesnt have the official Licence of First Occupation (I believe) so be careful what you buy. There is generally no doubt that it will get it (when finally the Town Hall and the Junta reach agreement) but still a cloud hangs over it. The Spanish are buying there if the price is right (they are shrewd when it comes to real estate which is a good sign and a good yardstick) but they are driving a hard bargain so there should be some good deals there with people that had always intended to flip before completion.

If you look at the development forums you should be able to set up a line of communication with someone living there. It is ages since I have been up there but i am led to believe that certain of the phases arent completed in the community areas but I may be mis-informed so best to speak to someone on the development.

Buyer be ware! Many of the properties there have no habitation licence!

If you were to need a mortgage to purchase and there was no habitation licence you will not get one!

 Hi Tony

We are in La Reserva where we both live and operate our business. Contact us and speak to people who realy know what is going on.

Properties are changing hands here and some mortgages have been granted, despite what the ill informed scare mongers may say.

As Smiley says the Spanish Buyers are shrewed and would not buy here if there was any serious problems. There are at leat three Spanish Lawyers who I know who have bought here.

All the best

John
