It's such a mine of information!
 
Can anyone help me though with Self Certified mortgages in Spain?  There are a number of spanish based 'brokers' who are claiming exclusive 80% LTV and others saying 60%.  Anyone know what's what in todays market?
 
I'm going out there mid Oct and would like to know what's possible before I waste my time seeing properties.

                                                Hi. I doubt self-certified mortages are still accepted. Besides 60% is the Loan to Value that is now being offered to non-residents in Spain. Try contacting a mortgage broker. The independent ones have access to the majority of lenders and they have direct 'phone access to the decision makers. They can give you a good idea within 24 hours of what your chances/options are.
