"Our fee are set through the coefficient and as ours has a large footprint we are told we pay more which we don't agree with what about 2 bed apartments who have a roof terrace all laid out with a pergola, sun beds, tables and loads of pots of plants  etc which in our view is another room and private at that and they believe that anything up there should be paid for by the community"

When you bought the coefficient was on the escritura,  so that should have sounded warning bells if it was not what you expected.  Too late now.

Most certainly but we were naive and believe what the president and the sales person told us it would be about 600 euros - lesson learnt don't listen to sales people or the President they just want rid of the property, it had a debt on it you see.  However our grudge on it is the fact we are paying a lot more than any of the apartments with a roof area just because we cover a large area on the ground floor.

Do you pay for the lifts that are of no use to you?

Jojan

Your solicitor should have checked any debt owing on the property and can certainly have checked to coefficient and therefore fees payable by contacting the Administrator.

Never, ever believe a Sales Person.

Yes we pay our co-efficient percentage of all the lifts and community area expenses.

We knew about some of the debt and we agreed that in the price but all in all a bad experience including the solicitor unfortunately.  As for the administrator well they were another story.
