Driving a Spanish Registered car in the UK

I doubt if my post could have been more specific than it was to Spiderman’s question. I have no idea what forum rule I have broken or who I have supposed to offended. For my benefit and maybe others could you please enlighten me, without further vague replies? If I am at fault I will apologise.
