Hi again,

Yes Truff,
Even if the Pools not finished, we'll fill a bath tub of water on the building site, pity that I don't drink, but after this is all over I'll probably be on 15 pints a day!!! anyway I have no doubt that we will meet in OCC, my guess late 2011, "if we're all still above ground!!" I have a really good solicitor in Mojacar, hes a city boy (Madrid) and he has Spanish Clients from ACC, he also has a good relationship with the Accounts Guy at Huma, Luis (my solicitor) has told me that he spoke to the actual owners of Huma (family run!!) and they are reputed to be very ashamed of this mess ....and rightly so!!! ...Luis is also confident that the family is solvent and he belives that building at OCC will start within the next few months.
I opted for plot 2 which is due to commence at the end of the summer... we shall see eh!!!
Anyway... the Celtic Tiger is slowing down here in Ireland so who knows, maybe a whole bunch of unemployed Paddys might head for Spain to find work..... Guess what? we should put them in touch with Huma!!!! at least our boys would fire the "Huts" up in no time!!!

Be careful with all those positive comments about OTCC, Paddy and Truff - the more childlike on here will start calling you an agent, or accuse you of posting under a different name (as if you could be bothered ).

We'll have to organise a meet up in a couple of years (when OTCC is built), between those of us who transferred to MCC and you lot on OTCC

Peter

Peter,

Sounds good to me.... even a spot of footie in the dust could be aranged ....just like in the old black and white war films..eh, The good guys are in the POW Camp (OCC) and the bad guys (The Spainards) are the nasty Guards!!!
But all joking aside, there are a lot of decent people have put their life savings into this and were expecting their day in the sun in 2006. I really feel for the people who had plans to move out and live in OCC.
I was never that pushed on Spain, I was told by a good friend at the time I put my money down in 2004/2005 to expect to see nothing for at least 5 years, so we're into the forth year now.
Last year I bought a holiday home in Maine, USA... got to admit, Im sorry I did'nt do it earlier ...Jez you got to hand it to the Yanks, there was no messing there ...funny thing now, neither my wife or kids have any more interest in Spain...could you blame them!!!
But seriously Peter, I'm going to ride this one out, and God love anyone in this forum that would think I'm an Agent for Huma!!!
People under extreme pressure sometimes dont see other options...I say keep a cool head, run with the flow....
Trust me...it has always worked for me!!!!!

Peter

Not really positive comments from me and Paddy. I think it's more a case of resigning to the fact that we are caught up in this mess and are taking the the most stress free option. I cant see Huma paying my hospital fees when I'm recovering from high blood pressure (which i don't suffer with at the moment) due to anxiety of a legal battle. But talking about positive comments, look at Martini's post on the OTCC thread which is quite reassuring. I do think OTCC has some good points even in favour of ACC so at the moment still feel I made the right decision.

Truff

I have two things to say:

1: ONLY DEAD FISH GO WITH THE FLOW !!

2: THE MAN YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO AT PARADOR IS MARK GROVES (TRUST ME HE KNOWS ALL ABOUT IT, I AM AN ESTATE AGENT IN THE UK WHO'S COMPANY DEAL WITH PARADOR FOR MY SINS !

But before you all start on me, i am not like a certain rowlandsb who has an interest in where and what you buy, I am like you lot with money tied up in this mess !!!

Hola all, This is my 1st posting. I bought on acc in July 2005. We have sinced moved to Mojacar and went to Huma at mcc in Feb this year. We somehow managed to get them to sign a cancellation agreement and, they even guaranteed to pay back the full amount including 3,000 dep by no later than the end of June!! What do you think my chances are? I do know of 3 couples that got their money back, so we will just wait and see. Anybody read about plans to build a vast campsite in Cuevas complete with a riding school, shops, pools etc. Sounds a bit like acc has been sold to make this happen.

HUMA will give you all your money back including the 3000 at the end of June.

Also Ireland will take the Grand Slam from us Welsh at Rugby.

Sorry you have two hopes,

Bob Hope and No Hope.

(They bounced our cheque in February for the refund)

Anyone that wants refunding seems to be executing BG's (if you are lucky enough to have one them) or going down the court action route. This is how honerable and trust worthy this 'family' run business is.

Deposits only - well forget them, unless you want a costly solicitors fee to get a few k back.

This is a company that many people will never deal with again. But we will all keep tabs on them won't we !!

and I agree with the statement below, everyone WILL get their money back because we won't let them just walk away with it will we ?
