Good luck with your new solicitor that seems really quick,.We started trying to get our money back in September and dont no what is happening its frustrating not hearing anything ,Is there anyone is with Andersons solicitor ?  because im wondereing if theres any  news as to what is happening ,im getting real anxious of not knowing anything they did say they were going to start the ball rolling at the end of March and we should hear something the middle of April but it seems a long way off and all seems to have gone quiet any info would be appreciated also we have no B/G which is worrying. Thanks

i haven't checked my  emails for a few days till tonight but Andersons are on there from the 26th March asking me for docs so they can start proceedings so something is happening. I will be getting them in the mail tomorrow

Fingers crossed  we might hear something soon, only i no their busy and dont like to keep on, but this has been 7 months now ,but they did say it could take up to 6-8 months before  anything happens, but hopefully itl be worth it in the end we have to keep possitive but its difficult thanks again.

I think it very insulting to call people thick who are only trying to get back what they are owed.  What are we supposed to do, if not get a solicitor ? Let they B******ds get away with it .and our money . I THINK NOT.  I say keep fighting.. I know its dis-heartening but you cant just give up and let them take what is owed to us .

Totally agee, while I remain on this earth they will owe me until the total refund is BACK in my account and debt settled. Hopefully in court, because the costs against them are rising fast .............. from interest, solicitors fees to flights to money transfer costs etc etc......etc...and will I back down on the court steps .........NO.

This developer is so short - sighted to even think they can get away with (with holding money) indefinitely.

Why not just do the honorable thing and refund what rightfully belongs to others and get on with running and promoting your business in an honest manner.

Do they not realise the damage they are causing to their own business in this fiasco..

No one is thick - we were all conned as simple as that! Huma are still conning people on Oasis. Have they actually any money to build it? One JCB on site does not sound a quick or costly start?

I believe if we get our payments back without even interest or compensation - from a financial point of view - we will have avoided a great financial blunder. The pound is falling against the Euro - it is over 10% less than 1 year ago and is going down further. So if you just get your money back the Euros converted in 12 months time could be worth 15-20% more in pounds.

 I feel that the option to swap Huma sites would be a financial disaster!. If you want to look on the good side of the economics - I have posted a detailed financial look at swapping on the Oasis thread at the top of the list - which might interest a few people.

If we can get our money back - Huma might just have done us a favour financially! Spain property prices will be rock bottom in 2 years time  compared to prices last year - I believe with loads of key ready properties having laid empty for 1-2 years. There will be desperate sellers.

Somehow we have to find something good out of this.

However, I hate Huma as much as anyone - but if ACC had have gone thru - we would have been paying way over the odds for the properties on both current value and adverse exchange rates that are both worsening by the day.

I believe the best route is to take Huma to court and try and get our money back. Buying in Spain currently does not add up - avoid it for 2 years at least - is my advice!

I do not post much - but when I do - I like to think it is valuable advice.

I have noticed there is no optimism in the forum for ACC any more - even the optimists have jumped ship - I hope not too many have swum to Oasis for their sakes.

hi everyone i sincerley appologise didnt mean to call anyone thick,,stupid comment,

we,  like everyone would love to see huma make everything right,just dont think they are in a position to. we have spent yet more money this week on legal advice,which is,while ever huma are still in business and still building and selling we stand a good chance of getting back our money,if they go under we will lose everything or at best it could take years to get it back.
