Holiday lets

For those of you who want snagging done independently of your agents/Masa, I have found a company mentioned favourably in other EOS forums, who I have contacted to snag our house.  Cost approx 300 euros, and snagging is done prior to completion, so any defects can be rectified before final payment.  Inspectahomespain.com.  Also in other forums, there seem to be quite a few problems experienced by people who have completed without the habitation licence being in place, so no water or electricity connected to mains.

I have been thinking along the same lines, but had doubts about access prior to completion. Have you established that MASA will allow access, and importantly that snaggs will be dealt with prior to completion. I have my doubts!

Hi - I definitely don't intend to complete until I'm happy with the snagging.  I will leave it up to our solicitor/agents to sort out getting access/keys etc.
