As you say, good news at last!! I think that your Solicitors fax must have russled a few feathers, judging by recent events -news we've been waiting for, for a long time.

Hope that you get YOUR date soon, you seem to have suffered by the delay, more than most.

Hi all,

We have spoken to Mercers Spanish office today and although our main contact, Vicky, is away until Monday they have confirmed they have had notification of 16th August.

They confirmed that we are on the list for the first phase of handover but are concerned about the availability of the Notary during August. They are waiting for confirmation from the Notary of availability before formally informing clients. However they did confirm handover will happen August/September.

We're really pleased and excited it been a long time coming (3.5 years!).

We are trying to get in touch with the company that used to be Galvez & Galvez in Mazarron, does anyone have their new details? They moved office last year but haven't been in touch.

We have stayed with them, and they will be our representatives at the handover. Despite the changes within the business, for whatever reasons, we decided to retain them to represent us in all of our legal situations. To be fair, we were impressed when we first met them, which was why we stayed with them.

p.s. Not an advert, we always take people as we see them, 20 years in business taught us that.

I always try to think ahead ............. My missus talks for the world (and I'm not going to let her see this posting....), in which case, your missus can certainly stay in the spare pad at M16-79, with my missus, cos they will talk all night, so we can get p..*&%$ all night at ERICS joint (M15-52 don't forget), just down the road from us, and far away enough from 16-79, and the terrible things that could be inside it!!!!!!!

No problem!! Sounds good to me - you never know - she might just get used to the idea, but, in any event, if she natters like the missus, they WILL be there for a couple of days, in any case. At least, now you know why I got the other joint, whoever gets thrown out after a 'domestic' WILL at least, have somewhere to go - crikey,  what a great idea, I may have discovered a new ways of getting income, rent it out on the site to guys/galls in 'domestic' circumstances!!
