we just had a phone call from our spanish lawyer. who has power of attorney for us and she said she will be completing for us on the 16/08/2007 the best news we have had since  we signed in 2004 .The lawyers office is closing on the 3/08/2007 but she is staying on todo the transfer , what a nice person she is ,so looking forward to meeting you all in september.I am just going to open my 2nd bott of vino to celebrate ,yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are still waiting (congratulations, mate, on your GOOD NEWS  phone call).

Despite all the 'doom & gloom', 'the end of SG is nigh', 'I,m a realist, BUT, I listen to rumours and like to speculate when it suits me, you Sierra Golf people',  & 'I want my  deposit back' brigade, patience is eventually being rewarded. Made up for you, have just opened a bottle of wine to join in your celebrations, you lucky ?%4£. (Da Vinci Code).

Now for the bad news!!!!!!!!!!!  As you know, you are nominated to buy the beer & wine (at the 19th hole) for Rob49 and me. Unfortunately, we would have played a round with you, BUT, my front teeth are a bit loose, & Rob's are false, so you will have to use a normal tee.  No matter, we who are still waiting, will know where to go if the local bars are closed ( when WE get there) :---------           15 52 OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got email from agents who have told me that there are four houses on M16 getting released on 30th August (unfortunately mines not on the list but it would of been nasty of me told keep this info to myself out of spite lol) I am waiting on them sending me the four numbers so will post them on as soon as. That means theres going to be another four happy campers out there.

Like myself you seem very reserved with no green monsters in your house HA HA

They have come back to me saying at the moment they can tell me the builder wants to complete on 16th 23rd and 30th August but cant get actual numbers for me yet. As soon as they get update from builder I will be informed. They have said set myself for October and I shouldnt be disappointed because it should be before this.

At least we have an end in sight and seeing others moving lets us see we're on the move.

Will post anything I hear as quickly as possible.

Hi Eric,

We have arranged our flights and accom. for 3 Sep. and going with Adriana's people to the Notary on 6 Sep. . We will stay at Roda again for 15 days to sort everything, then come back here to finalise our affairs , then hopefully move in during Oct.

Look forward to meeting you and Mrs. Eric and downing a few ice cold beers and anything else we can get our hands on.

We have our date also, it should be the 16th but Luz del Sol say they can't sort everything out by then, so they are trying for the 23rd. I have to back at work on the 3rd September so if they can't do it, I will see you all during October half term.
