Probate procedure of foreigners in Spain

Congratulations to all those who have received their papers and dates and I hope all goes well,  it really is exciting even for those of us who haven't heard anything yet. 

For those of you who are now on your way I have a question to ask. I read on one blog that there were standard charges for lawyers similar to in England.  Is it based on the value of the property as in England.  Can anyone give us an approximate estimate?

We  were quoted 1% of the purchase price.

We have been quoted the following

200€ for Notary & Translation services on the day

60€ to arrange Iberdrola / Aqualia contact set up

100€ to sort out the 1% stamp duty which apparently involves a few trips back & forth to offices etc.

We already have NIE, Residencia, Bank Accounts etc. so I do not know what the charges are for these additional services.
