If your answer to the above is C.  what the hell are you asking stupid questions for , you know the answer already.

When Polaris have finally left Condado de Alhama let us see how things are run. We should be united in an action against Polaris for not keeping their contract and ensure that the warranty money goes to Condado de Alhama to get the facilities we have been promised. Why should Polaris get it back.

What the hell does this mean? What do you think is being done over here ? How do you think Polaris/RPM ran things  , not for our benefit. who do you think got rid of them ? it should have been sooner. If Mil Lev had come before I do not  think we would have had such a mess left.

Again I tried to let you know there is another position you should consider and you resort to threats ! 

I thank others for understanding that it is the Law of the Land that dictates how things are done , administrators and Presidents have to comply like anyone else.

Stop having a go at the peolple who are getting results. Yes don't expect to be told everything . Level 2 Presidents are now the driving seat. Level 1 was Polaris , but I am no authority on the complex issues level 2 Presidents are dealing with

Why don't you allow Mil Lev to do their job in fighting for a better resort , they have had to deal with Polaris/RPM 's mess and still have many issues to resolve.

It is Polaris you should be addressing about the problems and broken contract not those trying to solve the problem on your behalf

What contract was broken by PW? My contact only entitled me to an apartment which I got. Everything thing else was expected as stated but was not in my contract.

I am sure they have broken contracts in respect to repairing apartments and fixing faults.

Can I ask  , Big John , do you actually have an apartment in Condado ? and what did you buy it for , resale , retirement , a captive audience .

Totally agree with what Dringman said.  People should get off the Presidents backs and give them some credit for the hard and unpaid work they do for the community, i know some do more than others but if your not happy you have the opportunity to stand yourself. I also agree that Polaris must have some sort of legal obligation for the quality of build and any problems associated with it , I thought ML were doing a good job for us so far , is this not the case ?  I also thought ML had a some sort of assosiation with a legal company, can they not shed any light on our rights as property owners? Also is this true regarding the bank/polaris paying a fraction of the community charge ? If Polaris are not going to honour their obligations then surely we should be seeking legal advice as a whole and doing something about it . Surely threatening a protest outside their main office and letting them know of the intentions of informing the press would be a good start but would need to be backed up by all those that seem to just talk a good argument

I haven't had a reply from ML but didnt really expect to. I wasn't disrespectful and just asked for details of how the AGM progressed as I was concerned that it wasn't a smoooth running process on the day- maybe they are inundated and my reply will be tomorrow.

I sort of agree with dringman that ML are who we have and we therefore have to let them do their job and anyway PW still have a say for another couple of years even if they own nothing. ML do appear better than the last mob. Though feedback from Saturday suggests a sad lack of control.

I hope that PW have sold the bar and Al Kasar back to the Banks and that it'll become clear what the next step is soon- Olagolf could be the new managers according to rumour- I hope so!

I did post a few weeks back that a PW rep posted on another site that they had been advised in 2008 to start directing custom to other Polaris resorts and away from CdA. I'd like that to be nonsense but I' m not sure. PW seem to have built the apartments as per the contract and then dipped out of CDA and for a long time we didnt notice and just hoped. All around the world the financial world went chaotic and we just hoped.

An  issue  is who will buy the land around CDA if Paramount comes? As they will build a new resort and then what will happen to unfinished CDA and what do we do with J6 the sports zone; really can't see a new developer bother ing to continue the development in CDA although we could get a Hotel chain interested.

It's  a hopeless case if we have to build another sport area on the ring road, kiss of death to J6. Even more so if the aim has become to keep the CC so low that no improvements can be made to telecom and the resort. Costs are rising and to maintain a low CC we'll have to reduce services and there will be no development- isn't that really what happened on Saturday? All as foretold to me almost 2 years ago much to my disgust  " CDA will become an urbanisation and not a holiday resort, it's going to be too big and will never happen or will become a town like many others."

Sorry, but I'm finding this a tad depressing (yes I know its lovely when we visit Cda but in real terms finacially I think it looks a abit sad) Half finished resort, chaos at AGM, Presidents in disarray , disharmony.

I should of pointed out we have no problem with our appartment are happy in general  with the work of the presidents and also ML so far. We  love the place and can't wait to get back, but we do feel for those who do have problems and are not getting anywhere,  we dont feel the i'm alright Jack is the right attitude. If Polaris are ignoring owners requests for repairs intentionally then this is made so much easier for them to fob off an individual  rather than a group. Does anyone know if ML have spoken to Polaris on our behalf on this matter and if so what was the outcome? Still like to know if theres any truth in the subsidised community charge though

Is it just my cynicism that " Big John" creeps out of the woodwork with only a few posts to his name albeit they are of little or no sense and previous vitriolic posters in the past have gone quiet!!!!!

Just a thought of the motives of bIG johnny and his incandescent rants over the past few days!

Best to just ignore them and let him crawl back to whence he came until he can learn some manners before he actually believes that any other posters on this forum actually give a flying about his thoughts!

the bottom line is none of know what is really going on behind the scenes between pw or olagolf on cda i just cant help wondering why a group of independent buisnessmen would invest 50 billion euros in an international airport in the middle of nowhere if nothing is going to happen in the area someone knows something...maybe that little estate agent in the port advertising properties on ""paramount park"""knows more than we do...just a thought????

I'm with you on that one.  I posted a month ago:  it's all part of the BIG PLAN.  A resort in the middle of nowhere, a brand new airport serving no one, brand new motorways practically empty. They know something we don't................

Like many, I find it increasingly difficult to remain positive about our CdA urbanisation (not a RESORT as I also posted) with an empty Al Katraz (which I also posted), but hey ho these things were said with tongue in cheek.  I reckon in a years time we will see a turn around, and only we'll only be reading positive posts on rthis forum.

 In total agreement with Glesgasteve.  Why would all this cash be invested in the region if nothing is going to happen?  You have some of the best freeways in Spain, an international airport opening and entrepreneurs ready to invest in a Paramount theme park.  Someone will take full advantage of the CDA setup rather than start afresh.  Glesgasteve I think your right, somebody somewhere knows something.

Don't know where you got that idea?.  The bank pay the same community fees any other owner would on the properties they own.

I was told by a cam bank employee and also that scum Polaris pays the same 1/4

if it is  true and i see no reason why not ,may be the accounts you have seen if any are what they want you to see

who knows worth a check do you think .
