I suppose if we were to take an unbiased view of the resort from the point of view of a family renting in the summer for a couple of weeks , what would there idea of the complex be ,
they would say that the resort is being run brilliantly , excellent security , fantastic golf course , mature gardens with great pools , common areas well looked after , friendly people , great selection of bars and places to eat , well organised festivals and weekly car boot sales , great sports area and sports bar in the Jardines area and overall a great resort to visit , would recommend Condado de Alhama in the morning .
There is nothing wrong or bad about what a visitor would say about the place , everything that would be said in this scenario would suggest an adminitrator that was doing a fantastic job , and they are in the respect of doing thins on the resort to make it look good , visually .every thing you can see done is open and transparent .
BUT , when it comes to owners asking questions personally or through the presidents who are our representativs about the accounts of the resort ML seem to be less than forthcoming with the details , now I do not know the details either before someone asks but there has been enough posted on this forum and through mails from various levels of presidents to make me wonder about how good or bad the resort stands financially .
A point to remember is that if the resort is in as much debt as is being suggested then that needs to be addressed , and we as owners are liable for any debt incurred by the resort , we will be liable not ML . I said in an earlier post that I think some of next years budget should be put aside to service any existing debt even if it means cutting some service , renegotiating of some of the contracts could also help reduce costs .
As someone has said on this post , Millenium are employed by us the owners and we have the right to keep them or ask them to leave , Do I want them to stay or leave ? If I was to base my answer on the first two paragraphs of my post I would say no I dont , If I was to base my answer on the rest of the post I would probably say Yes , If I was to base my answer on the entire post I would say there are some questions I would like answered before I make up my Mind .
I not saying how anyone should vote , I am just saying think about it for more than 10 seconds before you do , dont just base it on the fact that your grass is cut when you arrive every summer .
