We are thinking of bringing the following TV over from the UK, and wondered if anybody else had done so and was it working OK over here?

Sharp Aquos LC19D1E-BK HD Ready Digital Television, 19 Inch.

The idea is to have a second TV for when him indoors wants to watch footie and I want to watch something else!  I know that we can always record a programme, but it would also be handy for when family are staying.

Thanks.

Sue

hi,

any tv will work in spain....to an extent

with the sharp you will be able to use it with no problems with another appliance via the scart socket,..(like dvd player or a satellite receiver)

but you may have some trouble (as i have mentioned many times on this forum (see the TDT thread by greener http://www.eyeonspain.com/forums/posts-long-6361.aspx)) whereby the "freeview" tuner may not work 100% with the spanish version of freeview called "TDT"

hope this helps

We bought a new Sharp Aquos specifically to bring with us a few weeks ago. No problems, very pleased with it.

Thanks for the helpful replies - now we just have to hope that John Lewis have one in stock when we go there next week!
