Swimming Pool Construction

When we complete on our purchase, we are considering having a swimming pool built some time in the future. There are various methods of construction ie: preformed, gunite etc. Any comments on the pros and cons of each type of pool would be appreciated. Thanks.

The pool in our house was here when we bought, I beleive it is gunite.
When have had no problems with the pool structure but have suffered plumbing leaks which I repaired. The pool builder who has a large showroom close to the new Iceland in Torrevieja refused to fulfil the 10 year warranty obligations as the house had changed hands.
To make plumbing repairs earier, if I were o have a pool built now, I would make sure the pipe work was accessible either above ground, in a under pool building or in duct work in the ground.
