Having just spent two weeks in southern Spain where the heat was at times horrendous, I wondered whether Northern Spain might be an option?
Anyone got any experience of living there?

Not many it seems, but yes we live and work up in Catalunya and get on fine. Language is not Spanish, people are ignorant and money grabbing but the scenery is great and the weather can be just as hot as the south but the ski slopes are only a short drive away.
