Information on Almunecar.... Costa Tropical

Hi All, Just wondered if anyone on here resides in Almunecar area Costa tropical? My boyfriend and I have lived in Spain for 9 years and reside in a small village in the mountains 3,000 inhabitants and prior to this a village with 60 people. We are considering moving nearer the coast.... A farmhouse situated inland 15 mins from Almunecar beaches. Coming from a smallish village I just wondered if they are groups or bars in Almunecar where you can meet fellow expats?
We both speak fluent spanish but would like to meet some fellow brits,and wonder how easy it is to get to know others, your advice would be more welcome.
