Scam regarding Actions Against banks Law 57/68

A client of us has recently received a call from someone saying he was calling on behalf of Málaga Courts by which they offered to them an amount in regards to his Action against Banks case. They said we had placed an embargo on this payment and they asked our client to pay a sum to a " lawyer" so they can supress the embargo.

It is case we are waiting a Court decission for.

We have of course informed the client of the scam nature of the offer.

Is it possible to trace who did this in case it was someone (God forbid) within the court system? How for instance would they have access to client's details?

If, like us,the client has been waiting more than eleven months for the judge in their court case to make a decision then, where there are large amounts of money at stake, it gives these crooks ample time to research the case and to invent a scam.

Given the average age that the off-plan clients are now and the amounts of money involved I am also surprised that there have not been reports of lawyers robbing them or robbing their estates in cases where the client has died.

The delays in the Spanish justice system without adequate Govt resourcing to address the growing ( and compromising) problem appears to be counter to the rule of law.
