Patio Pressure Washers
| The Comments |
Hi, can anyone recommend a good Patio Pressure Cleaner -as we have lots tiling all around the house we need something to tackle the job quickly and efficiently. There seems to be plenty out there but better to buy one that 'has been tried and tested' rather than end up with a machine that finds its way into the garage and never used?? Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can go far wrong with a Karcher
Available in Spain at Leroy Merlin and Aki outlets

As Team GB says Karcher rules - any number of different models to suit budget and I can recommend the long handles "circular" brush attachment for getting into cracks and crevices - be careful with tiling though because if they havent been well tiled or grouted as is often the case here or the mortar is old the pressure of the water can loosen it and get under the tiles

Too true. My son, being helpful, pressure-washed our patio and removed much of the pointing between the slabs.
I re-pointed but this leaves weakness between the old and new pointing.
Something was pulling out the pointing at these points. Turned out to be crows searching for insects.
Those b.....s must have tough beaks!
