Murcia San Javier Airport, nice but lacks public transport..?

I hope Murcia Transport Authority will introduce a decent PUBLIC TRANSPORT system to link CORVERA airport to the surrounding area ( that is.. if and when it open in Summer this year )

Only major down side about San Javier is  a major lack of bus services for onward travel. Unless ive got it wrong and buses do go here .. Of course this plays into the hands of taxi firms and Car Rental companys.  Nice if you live in Corvera ..

Does anyone know if plans are in place (at Corvera) to improve access to the surrounding towns with a regular buses to.. say, Murcia or Cartagena, plus  rail network etc ?? or are we going to have to continue the same situation .

No it will just be the taxi drivers fighting over who's area it comes under.

Apparently Corvera won't now be open until autumn!

 it looks to me like Corvera has worse transport links than St. Javier. I'm talking about main roads and tourist areas on the coast. Look at a map !

I cant see how it will have "worse road links" because its located just off the Autovista Medditarranno ( Spelling sorry ) and you can go north or south or East to the coast by a number of main routes. Its the public transport I was questioning.. 

Just to add a point... I checked the map and agree its further from the coast but spooky enough Corvera airport will be about 10 minutes from the "Proposed Paramount Park"..... yes that old chestnut...  If it opens who knows when , but that might help the developer "Sell to investors"  and get the money a backing needed.......... Just a Polaris World  did to thousands of customers. New airport coming  .. new Park coming.. Lets hope it happens becuase it will be great for Spain and Murcia region.

St. Javier is 10 minutes tops from the AP7....Corvera's about 30 minutes from the AP7
