Can anybody help!!! I am looking for info on Americans living in Spain. Have idefinite stamp on passport which allows permanent stay in the Uk but not spain. Currently living in the Uk and has done for 20 years. What do we need to do to be able to live in Spain permanently?? Have consulted spanish lawyers and police for advice but they have no answers as this seems to be such a grey area.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to approach the U.S. Embassy in U.K. as they may have some information. You could also contact the Spanish Embassy in London and they should have details of requirements.
