So after living almost 4 years on Costa Luz, Ive decided to relocate to Malaga-area. I really need to get out of the campo and back into civilisation for a bit - oh, and would be nice meeting some other expats too :D

So - I want to find a place, preferable a small cottage-like, with other ex-pats around, but not to far from the city. As I also have a horse, an area where I could have the horse on pastures not to far away would be preferable.

Has anyone got any ideas as to which areas I should search in??

From what you've said, I would say Alhaurin el Grande would be a good place to start.

Sounds idyllic - deffo gotta check it out!!

I must say tho - I am somewhat looking for something a bit closer to the bigger cities as I am just coming from an idyllic little village 30 kms from everything ;)

SkyeRef, when you say "not too far from the city", how far it too far?  Are you looking more for somewhere around the suburbs of the city or a bit further out than that?

Justin

Justin,

It kinda depends on the roads too. 30 or 40 kms on highway aint nothing at all - but 30 km on winding mountain roads or dirttracks is quite a lot :)

I would prefer suburbs - if its possible with 2 big-ish dogs and to have at least a small garden or big terasse.

Actually - I might prefer a finca with room for the horse smack bang in city center - but trying to stay somewhat realistic her *heheheh*
