Can anybody explain to me why I cannot book any flight for Easter next year? The Calendar is now available until Sept 2011, and yet everytime I try and book my flights to return to the UK for the Easter Holidays I am unable to do so.

You don't state which airport you are trying to fly from. At the moment Easyjet are not flying from Murcia San Javier (politics& monies involved) Although they are in talks with the Murcian officials to fly from the new Corvera airport when it opens.

I don't think you are correct in saying that Easyjet are not using Murcia Airport.
Summer flights into Murcia are certainly available from Bristol.
Summer flights from London airports are always the last to be released & from memory this was around the first week in november last year.

Jimbofinn, Easyjet ARE flying into Murcia from March 29th because I've booked from Bristol but seems that it might be the only route listed at the moment.

It would appear Easyjet are stopping the route Malaga - Gatwick on 26.03.2011. Still operating to Luton and Stansted - bookable
I have booked for family to come out during April 2011 with Monarch Gatwick - Malaga. No problem.
Ryanair don't seem to be booking their route Malaga - Stansted for April yet.
Don't really know what's going on with Easyjet and Ryanair. Playing a waiting game maybe.

Easyjet flights from Gatwick are always the last to be released. Just check on a regular basis and they will come up. Kevin

I found a good flight booker called skyscanner (dot) net checks all flight from all airlines for the cheapest.
