I agree with your comments about driving to a pre arranged MOT. However, is it not stretching a point to drive over a thousand miles without one? Are we assuming that they are getting to the car in Spain and not using it and driving straight back to the UK. Don't think I fancy discussing the point with a Sapanish policeman on the edge of the road. I think I would get the insurance company to agree that this is OK. As mentioned before most insurance companies only cover the car abroad for three months. What is the situation with their insurance company? Proably find the insurance is not valid.

We are on the Costa Blanca. We use Teleast, unlimited broadband, unlimited calls to UK landlines. I can ring other countries including USA. I pay 28 Euros per month. I will not ring mobiles as it always seems to be expensive.
Ole Communications do a very similar package for just a little more money.

We bought a memory foam mattress in the UK. Unfortunately my wife suffered an allergic reaction to it. Her wole body was covered in a rash. Although I think they are comfortable they are not the answer for everyone. My son now has the mattress without problems.

We are planning to drive from Playa Flamenca (south of Alicante) to Santander in February to catch the boat back to the UK. Has anyone done the journey at that time of the year? Were there any problems with the roads, snow and so on? We are also planning coming back in February with a different car, just to make sure we are legal in Spain. Current car needs a MOT early March. thanks Kevin

Sorry, it is my mistake. Playa Flamenca is south of Torrevieja around 30 miles south of Alicante.
