Auriga Crown - extra insurance

I have just booked a car hire with Auriga Crown. Does anyone know what they charge for the extra insurance? Do they try and charge you for anything else?

From memory it's 3 euros a day or 300 euro deposit

 Hmmm, I thought it was 2€ per day, but looking at their site says different:

FOR ONLY € 4,00 PER DAY (*), YOU CAN COVER ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO WHEELS, GLASS AND CLUTCH (**)
* minimum amount € 20,00 and maximum € 50,00 per rental contract
** a deposit of € 300,00 is obligatory, in case you do not wish to acquire this insurance 

I am collecting a car tomorrow evening and I usually pay for the extra as they are usually short rentals, will let you know.

It's probably worth the extra for peace of mind.

I never ever took the extra insurance when coming on holiday, but on one occasion I was talked into it by the guy at the counter. Would you believe it.....I lost my car key somewhere in Torremolinos when out walking.

They replaced the key no problem without additional cost, without the extra insurance it would probably have cost me a couple of hundred euros.

I can confirm that the extra insurance is now 4€ per day to a maximum of 50€ per rental. Since September, if you bok via DYS, there is now a charge of 3€ per day for each additional driver (previously FOC).
