We have lived in Spain for 2 years and have now brought 2 apartments, in both, the lights where not part of the contract (which is quite normal in new houses in Spain) Fortunately, I am an electrician and fitted them myself.
You can buy from a lighting company, with labour included, can be expensive. Or you can buy your own lights from IKEA, Carrafours, Leroy Merlin, etc,  who stock a wide range at very competative prices and have them fitted.
If you need any advice or help on living in Spain give us a call on 0034 616009262, Roy & Janet

Regarding lights and electrical fittings in Spanish properties, when signing contract check it very carefully if buying from Spanish people as when they move out they will often take ALL the lights and fittings (switches/sockets/power fittings) they mostly leave the fuse box (I was only joking about that F.B) but that did happen to a friend of ours they took all the lights/light switches/and sockets that they could unscrew and just left the bare wires hanging so be careful .  Regards to all rosi n

Hi blanchy. Be careful on older properties as we had black used as LIVE also black used as earth  no sign of any greens in the wiring, the blue always came neutral but in some other connections we have found grey/ brown or black used as LIVE the whole apartment block was wired this way so unless you have the fight testing gear be careful (my huby is a sparky ) .Regards to all rosi n
