Warning to iPod/ iPhone users updating to OS4

Having visited iTunes earlier today and downloading the new operating system 4 for the iPod Touch/ iPhone, my gadget became a useless brick. It wouldn't turn on, the pc wouldn't recognise it and panic set in. There are many reports on different forums about this problem and it seems the answer is to turn off your firewall during the update process. It seems to be a big problem with Zone Alarm users (me) as well as some others. With the firewall off, OS4 will install with no problems.
