I know they are in England but they rescue donkeys from all over the world. and I beleive they are charity status. It might be worth talking to someone there.

I watched a programme about someone who had a sanctory in Costa Del Sol, it showed him organising a vet check on the donkeys at Mijas.

Perhaps you could do a google search to see if it still excists.  It was a long time ago and was probably a re-run, in these troubled times it may not be still running but it's worth a try.

He may even be connected to the UK donkey sanctuary and they may be able to help you if Google can't.

However, in first instance they really would like to sell 50 animals (although at very low prices) in order to cover the purchase of food and (outstanding) bills for the remaining lot.

If the animals cannot be sold it is ofcourse worthwile to contact a charity.

So again, please, if anyone can help or know someone who might be interested in buying one of these lovely animals, do not hesitate to contact them or me.
