I am asking this question on behalf of an American friend who is coming to Granada City.
She is looking for a two or three bedroom apartment in Granada City, initially for six months.
Her question, via me, is 'What sort of initial charges is she likely to incur if she
a) goes through an immobileria or agency and
b) if she rents privately.
My understanding is that if she goes through an agency a commission charge equivalent to a half or a months rental is charged plus one months rental whereas privately it's a matter of negotiation between the customer and the property owner.
If anyone can help me out in this matter I would greatly appreciate it even more so if we can come up with a quick answer!
And if any one out there has a suitable property in Granda City or very close and on a decent bus route please let me have details...
