To Garry Cobb of Lets Live Abroad & Fair Trade Spain

Reading your response to the thread (Medsea Properties) you say that Medseas are still receiving commission from YOUR CLIENTS  that you sent abroad to purchase properties.  Why is it that when YOUR CLIENTS contact you regarding the problems they have received from Medsea they are informed that it is not your problem.

If they are YOUR CLIENTS why do you not give them some help ?

No one in this office would have said it was not our problem. It is very much our problem if we are not being paid for the work we do. That can have a profound and detrimental effect on any business! We are doing our upmost to help our clients which is why we are working with a qualified lawyer in Spain to help any clients that are experiencing difficulties regarding this company.

I dont know what office you are in but when I phoned the office which I think is in Glasgow I was told that there was nothing that Lets Live Abroad could do to help the clients that they sent to Spain through Medseas.  I am not the only one who was given this information.

What have you done to help the clients who have already completed without the help of Medseas? Did you pay for their accomodation or their flights? Did you pay or help them with their NIE numbers ? Did you help them when they had to attend the Noteries Office? I DONT THINK SO !!!!!!!!!!!!

You did not even inform your clients about the situation.  They found out on this website.  I am one of the clients who have not received any information from Medseas or Lets Live Abroad.  We have been out to complete on our property which our solicitor told us was ready.  Took time off work, bought flights, paid for accomodation, paid someone to help with our NIE numbers and guess what, it was not ready so we have to do it all again without the help of Medsea or Lets Live abroad. We will have to pay someone to help us complete at the Noteries plus any other expenses that might incur.

I am not surprised that you did not get paid for your work because you have'nt done any.  The clients have done it for you.  It has taken you 5 month to reply to this thread. If you really want to help you clients then (CONTACT THEM) OR GO CHASE YIR SELF UP THE CLYDE AND STOP TALKING A LOAD OF CRAP.

From an ex client of Lets Live Abroad and Medsea

It is within our contract - as it is with other agencies with contracts with Medsea - for Medsea to administer any completion. We don't get involved with completions as this has to be administered by Medsea's after sales. (Or lack of, as we now know). We sent letters to our clients informing them of problems with Medsea. Even today we have not been given any formal notification of Medsea's status. We know the company has not gone into liquidation although the office is closed. I don't usually visit this site and wasn't notified of your posting, but if you want to call me I will do what I can to help you.

Well you certainly did not send a letter out to me.  When we had problems with our apt on March 2009 Lets Live Abroad gave us no help to resolve the problem.  We eventually magaged to get our apt changed with no help from anyone, so I cannot understand why you want to help now.  But as you said, you do not get involved with completions so there is no help that you can give.
