I have just paid 1.175€ / litre for standard diesel - equivalent to 93 pence or 4.22 GBP per gallon.
How does that compare to U.K.?

£1.20 per litre in a BP garage this morning, £1.17 in Sainsburys and £1.25 in motorway services.

Amazingwally - hi - I WOULD buy in Eroski, but it would cost me 80€ to get there and back!

I use our local Bon Area service station. Trouble is it's a self-service station with one of those machines that grabs you card/cash faster than an estate agent!
I knew that my little Seat would take 40euros from when the light came on. But with the drop in price, I don't know how much it'll take, or what happens if you ask for more than you can hold in the tank.
Oh the problems one has when living in Spain!

That looks great! £1.06 unleaded in Shell North East of UK and £1.11 in BP! Petrol price is going down slowly but it's going down everywhere. Aleluya!

Hi Mark,
No typo error - that was the price for diesel at my local BP station £ 1.29. I think it tends to be a little bit more down South !
On the positive side at least its going down finally.

When I filled up the hire car at Morrisons in Gib on the 29th September, it was 80.9p per litre for Diesel.
I assume it will be a bit cheaper now, what with Oil being that much cheaper than it was two weeks ago,
Two years ago, it was 65p a litre for Diesel in Gib.
So, how much fuel tax do we pay here in the UK!?!?!
