So...Febe pays 0.99€/litre which equals GBP 0.76 /litre.
Why are you people in U.K. paying 34 pence MORE per litre - which is GBP 1.53 per gallon.
How many outreach five a day smoking cessation social workers does that pay for??? (Sorry - I read the Daily Mail)

I was back in Germany recently again and noticed that the price of diesel and petrol were the same after years of diesel being about 20 cents a litre cheaper. More surprisingly was the fact the price difference wasn't as great as it used to be. If I remember correctly (age ya know, memory just aint what it used to be  ) 2 years ago it was about 35 cents a litre today it's about 20 cents or so.
