non residency

Hello,
We have just bought an apartment in Almoradi, Alicante and we have been told that we need to get a certificate of non-residency.
Can anyone tell me , where we go for this and what documents we will need to take.

In Spain: At the Police Station or Foreigners Office corresponding to the spanish address.
In your own country: At the Consulate office or Embassy of Spain
The application form:

Documents needed:
( 1 Hard copy and 1 photocopy of:
- Filled in application form
- Letter of the Bank requesting the non resident certificate from you.
- Passport.
