I am ok thanks .hope you are too...although my golf was fogged off this morning.....i haven't done my tax returns yet but your document spells it out quite simply. Because my place is new my lawyer has said it will be some time before i know the correct value to use in the calculations ...seems to the town council determine that...so i have to use the price i paid...does that sound correct?

used that site thanks ...and got myself an emoticon ...as you can see.  Must find out how to store lots of them so i can use them when i need them ..and not just on these message boards.

About the taxes, if I was you, I would wait until you get your first ICI bill. It will show you on there what value they have put on your property. then use that in your tax returns. The tax department won't be chsing you for the revenue yet, they know you have to wait till the Tonw Hall have valued your porperty.

Hold on to your money for a little longer!
