I cannot believe what the rate is now it seems impossible that when we completed it was 1.51 We were so lucky. Mind you over Sunday it will effect us then  I feel sorry for people completing now. Pat

Tell me about it. We bought last October, due to complete this October and at current rates the house is costing us £20,000 more at todays rate than when we reserved it. I am hoping to see some improvement between now & October!

We have a mortgage on our Spanish property that we're aiming to pay off when the UK house sells.
We will probably keep the money in England and wait for a favourable rate before redeeming now.
