Just got this from Easyjet.

Free flight with the new easyJet MasterCard#
(worth £40 including tax)

Simply spend £250 with your card anywhere in the first 3 months and you’ll get 4000 bonus miles, worth £40 which can be used to pay for an easyJet flight.
Typical 16.9% APR (variable).

Plus, for every £1 you spend on easyJet.com in the first 3 months, we’ll give you 10 miles – that’s 10% of the value of your flights, holiday, hotel or car hire credited back to you.*

Apply now

# Simply spend £250 anywhere in the first 3 months.

* Offer based on earning 10 miles per £1 on easyJet.com, to a maximum of £1000. Hotel and car hire must be booked at same time as flight. Miles earned (as shown on your statement) are redeemed on your next easyJet.com flight transaction.

Of course it would be. We (twice) were offered new ccs to do with Bank Of Scotland & (twice) were sent £40 in M&S vouchers. We only had to use card within 30 days (no minimum spend) so we used card each time, as instructed then cancelled. If they are daft enough to believe we're not going to do this, then they can deal with it. Go for it.

Does the "small print" not indicate that you also have to book a hotel and hire car through easyjet in order to qualify/redeem ? or am I missing something (wouldn't be the first time....)

I agree with San Miguel. I understand it as meaning you get ...............

3 Miles for each £1 of EasyJet Expenditure charged and billed to your monthly statement. "Easyjet expenditure" being flights alone OR flights combined with (EasyJet arranged) hotel bookings, (EasyJet arranged) car hire, (EasyJet arranged) travel insurance, (EasyJet arranged) airport transfers & (EasyJet arranged) airport parking AS LONG AS THESE ARE BOOKED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE FLIGHT.
