Hi, I am thinking about taking my old banger to a scrap yard. I am being told that the yard will collect for free or if I drive the car to the yard I will get €100. I live in the fuengirola area. Can anyone please give a definitive answer. thanks

If it's got a ITV..then why not sell it to someone .. for some reason second hand cars are extremely expensive in Spain ..they are atleast 3 times more expensive in Spain than the UK..for the same model/year so try your luck on Facebook market place.

Hi Windtalker, I thought about selling the car but apparently all sellers now have to give a 6month guarantee on engine and g/box. This could work out to be very expensive if something goes wrong.
