NIE certificate period of validity.

NIE certs are now being issued again without an expiry date, so no need ever to renew the cert.
I believe it was in about January 2014 that they started putting an expiry date of 3 months on the NIE Cert. That was done to 'encourage' people to apply for EU Registration within the 3 months.

I got mine June 2014 via email from Embassy in London, no date on it so if I need it I just print it off and not had a problem buying my house and car.
