A relaxing cup of café con leche! - Olympic Spanglish

In the wake of Madrid's failed bid to host the 2020 Olympics, many Spanish social media users have criticised a speech by Madrid Mayoress Ana Botella to the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Despite widespread disappointment after Tokyo's win, many Spaniards responded with humour. Spanish social media users are focusing specifically on the line, "There is nothing quite like a relaxing cup of café con leche in Plaza Mayor". However many have felt completely embarrassed by the speech and felt that Ana Botella did not prepare sufficiently and failed dreadfully in representing the people of Spain and wished she had spoken in Spanish and delivered a better speech with more thoughtful content. How do you think she did? Everyone I have spoken to from a Spanish point of view found it ridiculous...what's your view?

Of course with the money Spain aint got I would have thought this was a no brainer to build another village of house's to put with the other collection of empty house's they already have.
