Can anyone advise how much a person needs to state as income on residency application (a pensioner). Do they qualify if they only have a basic state pension??

nigel 188

looking at that link am confused as to what this part means

'■ Having financial means to cover the costs of stay and return and, where appropriate, those of their families, according to the following amounts: ■ For monthly support IPREM 400% of that in this year 2013 amounted to 2,130 , 04 euros.
■ For the support of each of their families, IPREM 100% of that in this year 2013 amounted to 532.51 euros

maybe its me not seeing it or being daft but what is the amount they are looking for.

thanks

 Hi There

A permit is granted without the authorization to work and is given to the “foreigners who have sufficient financial means to satisfy their expenses for living in Spain and return to their home country and the expenses of their family during the time period for which they want to live in Spain, without developing any work or professional activity, “according to Article 31.2 of the Foreigners Law. These “sufficient financial means” are, according to the regulations, a monthly amount equal to 400% of IPREM income (532.51 euros in 2013) =  E2130.04  per husband & wife and equal amount of 532.51 Euros  monthly for each of their fanily members.

Hope this helps

Regards

Does this apply to ALL foreigners, or EU citizens also?

I have read the law on this and it appears to apply only to NON-EU citizens.
