We will be moving to Spain next summer to the Murcia region. Unsure which area as yet because i'm trying to find the best area which can accomadate our needs. My wife doesn't drive and we have 2 sons with special needs [ adhd and aps ]. One of them will be 11 and the other 6 by the time we move. Good transport links are essential. I will be commuting back and forth every 2 weeks, ie 12 days in the UK and 3 in Spain.
My questions are,
As i am earning in the UK PAYE, am i liable to pay anything other than the basics, ie, rent , utilities etc.
Ihave a good income from the UK , my wife will also still receive family allowance , and adoption allowance as i am paying my UK taxes.
Any help or ideas on where to finally move to would be appreciated. The Alicante region is another area we would consider.
