how do you fill a swimming pool with a hose pipe ban in place

In most local areas filling a pool with water from a hosepipe , whether potable or irrigation, is not allowed anyway. Water tankers are supposed to be used.

Often, the quality of the water, from tanker deliveries, is better than tap water. The savings on chemical cleaning / softening etc can be quite a benefit.
