yahoo mail problems

Is anyone else having difficulties with yahoo mail; I thought it was just me - one tedious glitch after another. Now a Canadian friend, who has experienced similar says she has had enough. She is transferring to gmail. A bit more problematic for me as my yahoo address is so widely advertised. I suppose I had better start making those changes. Thanks for listening!

 ifnyou goto gail click on spanner top right and you will find a tool that will import your contacts addresses yahoo into gmail

Is your problem related t email retrieval in pop3. We use BT as a provider who outsource to Yahoo. There are lots of forums about server isues and how to get around the problem. Just let me know and I will provide a link.

Thanks, both useful and Guy; I think you got it. I used to have such a pop3 account, now redundant and I should (if I knew how) get shut. It is southerncomfit.com linked (not by me) to my yahoo addresses. When I checked it before, instead of by pop3 southerncomfit.com it had quite_write@ yahoo....   so you seem to have it. Thanks both.
