Because they are not popular and many Spaniards associate then with gipsies

Absolute rubbish!! Being an autocaravanner (motorhome) owner for many years and travelled alot both in France and Spain and also the owner of a holiday home in Spain can advise that caravans are used by the travelling people .

I too had a Gulftsream 38 foot RV in USA.
Please READ what I SAID;- It was what the SPANISH think..
They think only the very poor, lower classes (gipsies)., would ever stay in a caranvan.

Disagree by all means, but I am sure everyone would be grateful if you would refrain from being rude (absolute rubbish) to other posters.
I too understand that the Spanish have an extremely low view of caravaners.

If by "Caravan Cars" you mean motorhomes / camper vans, can you please tell me where you can find them "so cheap"?
