Hi im looking at buying a property  in Murcia, these properies where built a few years ago and have never been lived in, the bank now own them. they had a asking price of 500k plus they are now 150k, would the spanish tax man come looking for the iva tax for the differance from the 500k ----150k at 7%

The tax is on the sale price / declared price, not what it may have been worth at some time in the past.  Otherwise when you bought in the sales you would be paying tax on regular. pre-sale price.   Not even in Spain !!!!!!  Well not yet anyway.
