Early closing today on the Orihuela Costa?

Have arrived today at our apartment on the Orihuela Costa, to find the supermarkets etc have all closed at lunchtime, is that usual?

Hi there yes everything closed today its a red day (bank holiday) and so is tuesday, dont think a lot of places will bother with Monday either !! . You should be able to find somewhere for essentials to get you through till Tuesday.
