Advice on REMOVAL OF STAIN on AWNING

Hi everyone, 

Boring I know, but I only had it fitted in March - been away for 3 months and on my return find the upstairs terrace drainage outlet has poured onto our light coloured awning leaving a quite obvious stain.  Any advice on STAIN REMOVAL FOR CANVAS TYPE MATERIALS?  I think I have also taken the Scotchguard protection off in my attempts, so wonder WHAT PRODUCT here would be similar?  Any ideas would be welcome.

 Yeah, not the most exciting of topics but I could do with an answer to this one too.

Cant really help as never had the problem - but have you thought of walking into an awning shop with a smile and asking them??

Or try Leroy Merlin and ask one of the assistants - IME they are usually very helpful.

I have thought about but never got round to it!

I'll try and pop into the shop when I'm next in the area.

Best stuff I ever used on boat awnings, sails etc was Milton - the stuff you sterilise babies feeding thingies
